I'm Dave, a graduate student pursuing an M.A. in Education at the University of Connecticut. After an uninspiring career in business that grew tiresome, I began my journey into the wonderful world of science and teaching. While holding a teaching gig at Mystic Aquarium, I've spent the past couple of years studying what I think everyone would agree is the best and most interesting field of science -- biology. I have hopes (making a difference to my students), and I have fears (not making a difference to my students), but I proceed with the words of Oscar Wilde in mind:
“What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”
